ICELAND

I snuck away to Iceland during Spring Break with an old friend. This trip was less about soul-searching and more about rugged exploring of the subarctic terrain.

Sparkling ice shards bedazzled the black sand beaches. Seals played in the coves. The mountains, volcanos, and waterfalls were worth the trip around Iceland’s Golden Circle.

Despite the intention for a simple and fun trip, the setting out on any kind of journey triggers something spiritual for me. I remember vibing on how resilient life is there. It persists in Iceland despite the volcanic activity and subarctic conditions.
